This sandal solved a gap in my shoe attire--I can wear it with long jeans, and my pant bottoms don't get spellbound in the back, if you know what I mean. Note that the heel curves forwards a few degrees. That, plus the fact that ones heel isn't flapping (as with flip flops or heavier backless flip-flops) is what keeps the pant edge out from below my foot and being paid spellbound. Exceptional! My lean, long-legged look stays with each step.The better two straps are velcroed, so you can get a custom fit. I do wish the toe belt were velcroed, as well, but that one is sewn clogged. This sandal is frivolous, fine-looking (good leather and austere edging). It's just the aptly height for my highest (34" inseam) jeans, and the sole doesn't make flapping sounds on hard carpet, which is an unexpected plus. - slimnfit "boot gal"
